A Letter to the
Churches of Jacksonville
To the churches of Jacksonville, Florida, and to all who have called upon the name of the Lord, to all who have received grace through faith, unto salvation and eternal life.
May that same grace and peace from God the Father, the Almighty, and from the Majesty of His Son, who is our King and Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, be with you all. As many of us already know, the truth of God and His Kingdom is that all who have true and sincere faith are one in Christ. “…for in Christ Jesus you are all sons of God, through faith. For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ… for you are all one in Christ Jesus” (Galatians 3:26-28, ESV).
Whereof in his epistle to the churches of Galatia, Paul was having to show that in Christ
there is no difference between Jew and the nations (Gentiles) in the sight of God. Wherefore
we are now having to show that in Christ there is no difference between those who have faith in Christ Jesus, between others who also have faith in Christ Jesus. If there is no difference in Christ in the sight of God in the respect of Jew and Gentile then how can anyone say that those whom God has made one in Christ are now divided from each other by the doctrines, organizations, and various teachings of men? Our faith is in God and His son Jesus Christ and not in men. Man cannot divide up and undo what God has done.
Although they try and we see it happening all the time. We cannot divide up the people of
the nations, who have become now the people of God into separated groups of Christian
believers as we have done. It is not biblical, and it is not in accordance to the plan and
purposes of God sending His Son from heaven to save the world.
So who then is the body of Christ, and who are those who have put on Christ and are the
children of God, through faith? It is each of us who have and hold sincere faith in Jesus
Christ.
Also, as it is written:
“…walk in a manner worthy of the calling to which you have been called, with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love, eager to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. There is one body and one Spirit-” (Ephesians 4:1-4, ESV).
Therefore, the main thing that divides us from being one body and of one Spirit, is not the truth that comes from the Scriptures or the word of God, but that which comes from us- it is we ourselves that do it.
There is only one way to God the Father and that is through His son, Jesus Christ- יֵשׁוּעַ מָשִׁיח Yeshua HaMashiach- as His name is known in the Hebrew tongue.
(Ephesians 4:1-6, ESV)
The only thing that divides us is ourselves. There is only one way to God the Father and that is through His son, Jesus Christ– יֵשׁוּעַ מָשִׁיח Yeshua HaMashiach– as His name is known in the Hebrew tongue.
Therefore, all who would seek to go against this reality of the truth, work divisions and iniquity against the kingdom of heaven. There is only one body of Christ and to this body were given by Christ Himself,
“the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the shepherds and teachers, to equip the saints for the work of the ministry, for building up the body of Christ, until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to mature manhood, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ…”
(Ephesians 4:11-13, ESV)
LET US NEVER UNDERESTIMATE THE POWER AND PURPOSE OF THE UNITY OF THE FAITH AND THE UNITY OF THE SPIRIT.
Now, with that said, through the gifts Christ has given, if we are not drawing closer and closer to God’s endeavor, plan, and purposes by the working of the Holy Spirit and the word of God in our hearts, according to his grace and our faith, then we risk drifting off course in certain areas of the truth. Whosoever would deny this would be unaware of the very truth that is so evidently set forth and presented in the Holy Scriptures.
Brothers and sisters, do we believe it is God’s purpose and desire for His churches to be divided in Jacksonville, when the Father has called us to be one body in Christ? The answer is unquestionably obvious.
Another question we must ask; is it okay with God and His kingdom that we are as divided as we are? Because according to the Scriptures:
“…we, who are many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another”
(Romans 12:5, NASB)
Therefore, it is His purpose that we stand together as one in boldness proclaiming the gospel of Jesus Christ to this generation, to this city, and to the ends of the earth!
“And when they had prayed, the place where they were assembled together was shaken; and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they spoke the word of God with boldness”
(Acts 4:31, NKJV)
The question then becomes: will we listen? Will we pay any attention? Or will we simply continue on as things are, assuming that after two thousand years, we are fully aligned with the will and purposes of God and have no need for His further input on the matter?
Yet are we able to receive from Him? Yes, of course. “But will we?” remains the question…
(1 Corinthians 2:12, KJV)
THE GREAT RESPONSIBILITY.
For over a century, the United States of America has stood as a leading voice- and still holds the power- to set the standard for the world in proclaiming the truth and advancing the gospel of Jesus Christ. Both here and around the world, this influence, that can only be given from the LORD, cannot be ignored or taken lightly. We cannot retreat or rescind our calling- our responsibilities have been given to us by the grace of God. For, “Through Him we have received grace and apostleship for obedience to the faith among all nations for His name” (Romans 1:5, NKJV). This gives us, as the churches, the responsibility of making that truth and gospel known to this city and nation, to all people, and to all generations.
Therefore, let us allow God to lead us in the direction He would have us to go and to establish our path.
For it is written:
(Isaiah 48:17, NIV)
Consider what the Scriptures say:
(Romans 1:1-6, ESV)
This great honor and apostleship given to the churches of this nation, and the churches throughout the world, requires a steadfast stewardship and for us to walk in and according to the truth. To abide in the power of the Holy Spirit, regardless of what challenges or contrary spirits attempt to thwart or hinder the kingdom of God and its operation in the earth and among God’s people. We have a commandment from the Lord to love one another. We have a responsibility to uphold in the world and our nation. A responsibility to stand together against a common spiritual enemy, the devil.
(Ephesians 6:13, ESV)
Standing firm by the grace of God is our responsibility. Against a common adversary, Satan, who relentlessly attempts to attack our values, our faith, our families, our children, our friends, and our brothers and sisters in Christ throughout the world.
(1 Peter 5:9, NIV)
THE WORD IS NEAR US, EVEN IN OUR HEARTS.
As we all know, the time has come to be the true Christians and people of God that the Father has called us to be!
(Romans 13:11, ESV)
For the words that we write must indeed be from the Spirit of God, and the words that we speak most certainly need to be from the kingdom of heaven.
(Deuteronomy 30:14, ESV)
(Romans 10:8, ESV)
For the word of God changes cities, the nations, and the world through the power of the Holy Ghost. “But the word of the Lord endureth for ever. And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you” (1 Peter 1:25, KJV).
Now, if we do not fulfill and walk according to our responsibilities as the nation of Israel was also given responsibility in a similar manner in generations past; it can be taken away from us and, or, there can be undoubtedly consequences for a rejection of the grace, calling and responsibilities that God has given to us.
(Isaiah 48:18, CSB)
In speaking as such, what then did happen to the spirit of the prophets of Israel? What then did happen to the anointing of the apostles, and gifts of the Holy Spirit? Did they vanish and go away? Certainly not.
They remain with us, and now in even greater measure, since the Holy Spirit has also been given to us. Therefore, the gifts are still here and even magnified by the Spirit, but perhaps sometimes challenging to recognize due to the divisions, busyness and sometimes confusion that can abound in the daily lives of this generation. The gifts of the Holy Spirit that come from the Father in Heaven are given to the churches. To all of them, and not just to a certain denomination or particular Christian group. If the LORD sends a minister or messenger, or gives us men with the gifts of a Pastor, Evangelist, Prophet, Teacher, etc… it is for all of us and given to us all. Therefore, let us all take heed to the gifts the LORD has given to each of us individually, to and for us all collectively. That we may all with one mind and one accord call upon and proclaim the name of the Lord until His return.
For Paul by the Holy Spirit boldly states:
“Make my joy complete by being of the same mind, maintaining the same love, united in spirit, intent on one purpose.”
(Philippians 2:2, NASB)
As the churches of the city of Jacksonville we are being called to be a city which stands together for the gospel and for his name’s sake. As the Holy Scriptures so evidently state that we are to be one in Christ. Together, we have the resources and influential connections to impact this city, nation, and the world moving forward in a way that has never been seen before. However, it will take spiritually minded leaders to recognize what is happening and to step into the endeavor we are being called to walk in.
That is to bring the gospel of Jesus Christ to the forefront of the city of Jacksonville.
For thus says the Spirit of the LORD: “Before your time, and for generations and generations I have sought and called my people unto myself, and those to whom I seek after are also those who seek and find me. For I am not a God who is far off, but I am the LORD of all. I am the LORD who dwells with his people.”
Therefore, let us act accordingly and with His grace, power, purposes and will. According to the eternal salvation that is found in His Son, Jesus Christ -Yeshua HaMashiach- the LORD of all; the Son of the living God.
This letter has been written by: David W. Rozendal, and has been sent to all the churches of Jacksonville, Florida. May the blessings and peace of the LORD God Almighty be with you, and… “…with all that in every place call upon the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, both theirs and ours” (1 Corinthians 1:2 KJV).
Bible quotations in this letter are from the: ESV, NASB, NIV, CSB, NKJV and KJV English translations.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
So then what are we to do?
One of the most important things we can do is form an alliance and follow the direction and lead of God the Father, the Lord Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit; and put together a full out truth and gospel preaching, local association of churches. Forging a way for us to work together. To collectively and continually, and therefore much more powerfully and impactfully, bring the truth of Jesus Christ to the city of Jacksonville.
With the current infrastructure of the 847 churches in Jacksonville we are contacting in place; to reject doing this or being a part of this, which is for the name of the Lord’s sake, would be similar to God giving access to his resources from the kingdom of heaven to build more churches and facilities and yet saying: “No Lord, we will build with our own hands and with what we have on our own, and we do not want a part of the resources that you have and are willing to allow us to partake of, even if it be for your own glory and purposes.”
Therefore, I urge you to highly consider being a part of this true and great move of God. In my opinion we would have to be totally out of touch with the kingdom of God to not be able to see or recognize such a bold move of the LORD that is taking place right here in front of us. Therefore, unless we are full of jealously, hatred or condemnation towards other believers, and our brothers and sisters in Christ, have your church or ministry go to our website and be a part of the city-wide Evangelistic Movement!
Join and become a part of the leadership of the Jacksonville Evangelistic Association & Alliance.
A movement led by God the Father, the Lord Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit. The Jacksonville Evangelistic Association & Alliance is an association of churches, that all individuals, ministries and churches in Jacksonville can be a part of. We are not a church, nor do we expect or should we require churches to fall under “our” doctrine. We follow the Holy Scriptures (Bible). And we are a movement of the LORD, led by God the Father, the Lord Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit. A movement of the Christians and churches in Jacksonville, forming an alliance to reach the city more effectively and powerfully with the truth of Jesus Christ on a continual basis. Joining and being a part of the movement is not joining a particular doctrine but joining a collective evangelistic movement to bring the gospel to the forefront of the city.
As a church or ministry organization that joins the Jacksonville Evangelistic Association & Alliance you will then have the ability to lead, plan and grow this movement and association of churches with us. As we also labor to help grow your church and ministry—collectively with you, and therefore more powerfully—bringing the gospel to everyone in this city on a continual basis. In this we all stand united in our same mission to preach the gospel. Our goal is to work together in a way that has never been seen before, and to continually bring the truth of Jesus Christ -Yeshua HaMashiach- to this city both now and until the LORD returns.
Or is it possible we have forgotten about the monumental and paramount importance, and the necessity for the unity of the Spirit and the unity of the faith to be at work among us? Have we become so comfortable and used to doing things our own way and following our own agendas, plans and ideas that we have forgotten to seek the kingdom of God collectively among the churches and people of God? As far as my understanding, one of the main reasons Billy Graham’s evangelistic ministry was so successful was because he was committed to the unity of the churches, which the Bible refers to as the unity of the Spirit and the unity of the faith.
In those days the churches were willing to work together in order to accomplish and achieve a common purpose, which was to evangelize and spread the gospel of Jesus Christ to the United States and around the world on a large scale. During those days and because of endeavors such as are being mentioned herein, the gospel of Jesus Christ was at the forefront of society and culture in the United States and the majority of the population in the USA were Christian. Since those days of the majority of the churches being willing to unite and work together in order to place and keep the gospel of Jesus Christ at the forefront of society and culture in the United States, we have lost much ground. Now that for the most part the churches are in a continuous state of not working together on any large scale, the gospel has been receding to the background of American culture and society, and the majority of the world has followed suit.
However, it doesn’t need to be this way and it should not be this way, and I am persuaded that God has a greater plan for this generation and the churches of the United States of America. Let us answer the call to work together for a common goal and purpose which is to bring the gospel of Jesus Christ back to the forefront of society and culture in the city of Jacksonville, and the United States. To collectively bring the truth to as many people as we can in our nation. To all people and ages, and especially to the younger generation who are being taken captive by worldly entertainment and influences.
Therefore, we are proposing to create a multi-denominational evangelistic association and alliance here in Jacksonville. Called the Jacksonville Evangelistic Association and Alliance. Offering different levels of participation according to what each church may see fit for their involvement. This association of churches would be for the purpose of continually working together to reach the city of Jacksonville with the gospel of Jesus Christ, both now and until the Lord returns from heaven with the voice of the archangel!
Remember the scripture…
(1 Thessalonians 4:16, NASB)
In conclusion, am I saying that I am some great man of God, or messenger of God and to listen to me or else? No, I am not saying that. But I am saying that God is up to something and is doing something right now and at this very moment, and in this city. We should pay close attention to it.
Please reach out to me and my ministry as I would like to take the time to meet and talk with each of you. You are welcome to call or email us for more details and information, or to schedule a meeting with me. We do also kindly ask, if we call to schedule a meeting with your church, or pastor or leader, to discuss this effort and work of the Lord further, please do not ignore or disregard our request as we are not looking for your money. As you will notice I am not asking for money anywhere.
I am suggesting that we set a meeting for the church leaders of this city to attend in order to discuss how we can collectively bring the gospel of Jesus Christ to the forefront of society and the culture of the city of Jacksonville.
We are highly considering, with the collaboration and input from the majority of the churches in the city, to put on several small and larger-scale indoor and outdoor evangelistic events at strategic locations throughout the city each year. To even utilize the billboards in the city, which worldly businesses are taking more advantage of than we are. And the LORD willing, even ultimately putting on large-scale, city-wide
evangelistic events in the new Jacksonville Stadium where renovations should be completed in several years.
Please do not be hesitant or afraid to work together for the sake of the gospel and the future generations to come. Do not be afraid to let the city of Jacksonville know that the churches are here and our presence will be made known, even more, to the people of this city, both now and until the LORD returns.
With all that said, we are Ministry United Mission, INC. and I am David W. Rozendal.
I sometimes refer to myself as a Prophetic Evangelistic Teacher, but this is not about me, this is about the LORD and His kingdom and His glory. I hope to be in touch and to work together with the gifts that the LORD has given to each of you all, soon.
As I am sure that you may want to know more about who it is that is writing this letter to you. An introduction to my story and more about me can be found in my book titled;
To the Churches: For we are All One in Christ
Consider these words, and to be a part of, and join the city-wide evangelistic movement led by the Father, Son and Holy Spirit- composed of the Christians and churches in Jacksonville- to form an alliance to continually and collectively bring the truth of Jesus Christ -Yeshua- to this city and generation, until the LORD returns!
May many blessings and peace from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ be with you all.
David W. Rozendal
A servant of God and the Lord Jesus Christ, -Yeshua HaMashiach- יֵשׁוּעַ מָשִׁיח and your brother in the Lord.
